Military Ministry


Bless the Lord, who is my rock,

First Baptist Church seeks to be supportive of our military!  Being so close to Cannon Air Force base, our desire to is to make sure that all military personnel and every military family feels welcome.

We are working to develop ministries that we hope will prove to be a blessing to military folks in our area.

Instructions for Sending Packages to Soldiers Overseas:

If you would like to send a care package, visit Operation Military Pride for suggestions on what to include and mailing instructions. Be sure to take the package to the post office in person to ensure that all postal requirements are met.

· Military Ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ (http://www.milmin.com). This entire website is devoted to Campus Crusade’s Military Ministry. There are many resources on this site for those in the military, as well as those to wish to support our troops in a Godly manner.

 

· Operation Military Pride (http://operationmilitarypride.org). OPM is a volunteer organization started by the wife of a deployed service man in 1995. It has a wealth of information about supporting our armed forces personnel who are serving overseas.
